Question On Guppy Fry :)

my fry r 2 weeks old today and they r definetly getting bigger..i released em all into the tank with the 2 females who cooperate with them.theirs about 25 of em(18 from one female,7 from another) from the female that dropped more, one of her fry looks wayy bigger than the other ones,and i feed em 2-3 times a day.some are also starting to get more colors than just black.i wanna know why 1 fry may be bigger than the other ones and does it relate to food or is it just a thing?

some fry can grow quicker than Others theirs always one greedy buger lol.

It's just nature, some grow faster than other.

Don't worry, it's normal. Atm I have about 50 fry in my tank with my large female and 3 males. All the same age and yet some of them are getting genders while others still look like newborns compared to the larger ones!

Its genetic, different genes kick in basicly for the different fish.

thx to all of ya i have one female who had the 7 fry and her birth canal or however u call it its like a ball shape and its getting all white back there..im worriedd ..soome of my fry are getting sorta white/yelllow color..i hope its nothing bad,but her back looks like a ball

ok now her stomach got smaller i dont know if she gave birth but luckily yesterday i counted 20 babies left and if i find more than she had more..i found a wierd looking fry tho.its more red than the other ones and more thinner? maybe its the one that was born,but anyway her back is rlly looking bad its all ball shaped white and puffy

If she got smaller than she must have dropped. The ball shaped one could be ether a premature one, or a defourmed one.

well the one that got smaller she didnt have that dark of a gravid spot and it just looked like she ate to much...but these past 2 daysshe has been becoming different and hiding behind stuff ..its been a month since her last encounter with a male tho and she has been big her whole life cause i raised her..and yea alessa G is right i mean the females anal place is all puffed up and i cant see the gravid spot anymore it went white on me?? i dont know whats up with these females but i hope they get better or if u guys can help me

Gravid spots don't always mean the fish is pregnant it could just be natural coloring,The female is she is getting progressivly bigger then she is still pregnant.

well her gravid spot was clearly visible..it has black spots in it and it always did but i didnt see nothing in it throught her whole life? if she gets smaller ill do another fry count and see if i have anymore fry if so she had them
