does it attack itself or will i need to keep collecting and reattaching it to the wood? The only java moss i can get my hands on is not as long straned as the one in jimboo's guide. Longest peices are 3" max. So i just tied all the good peiced i could to a peice of cactus stalk to try and make a java moss tunnel for my 10g tank and was just wondering if it spreades itself and attaches or what. Thanks for any help.

I take it thats supposed to be 'attach' ;) and yes it will, it'll attached itself to pretty much anything! The stuff I used was under 2" so what you've got should do find, just pack it onto the wood or stone or whatever you're using and hold it on with cotton. It'll probably be attached within a few weeks. I just leave it until the cotton has rotted off.

You may have to prune the longer bits, but these can then be attched as well, which'll just make it more bushy so that's a good thing :)

Just spread the moss thinly when you're attaching it or the stuff nearest the wood will die from lack of light....and tie it down well or you'll be pulling it out of your filter for weeks.......trust me on that!! ;)
