Question About Tetra Crisp Pro Colour Food?

just wondered as i have just started using this.do you crush yours before you put it in or do you put it in whole?
i always soak it for 20mins but the other day i crushed it and when i put it in the tank it went everywhere.it was like a load of colourful dust

Presumably if it was meant to be crushed then that's how they'd provide it in the first place. I think you're meant to add it as is.

We use it in the store. For big fish we leave it whole, for tetras we crumble it a bit, you can hardly expect a tiny fish to eat a crisp that big but because of their design, they are easier to crumble than powdery naff flake.

I use it too. I feed the same way, for smaller fish you break it a bit. For larger fish I leave it whole. The point of the food being that less is wasted because it floats longer than flake.

My Lemon Tetras eat them as is. They grab hold of one & run away with it trying to get a bite before another fish takes it away.
