Question About Scat Fish?

hi guys, was wondering if i can move a scat fish into a community tank, at the moment it has been sitting at my friends 45L tank for one year and is the only one there? i would like to know if I can rehome it to a community tank? there are silver dollars, gourami's, platies, clown loaches in the community tank. it's a 450L tank.

I believe mono's and scats are both brackish aquaria fish.

correct me if i'm wrong anyone, but that would make it unsuited for the tank. And the 45l is probably far too small.

that's why i want to move it out of that tank, it's too small and the only one there? all lonely ok so no go as it is brackish, i thought so. going to have to take it to LFS...
