Question About Salt

Hello.... again.

Sorry for all the questions, this aquarium business can get complex!

I've read about adding salt to the water (without Iodine I believe). Fish-wise I have:

Glass catfish
Odessa Barbs
Gouramis
Blue Rams
Amano Shrimps

Should I add salt? What are people's thought on this practise?

No need for salt with freshwater fish unless there is an illness or severe stress.

There's absolutely no need to add salt to a normal, freshwater aquarium.
