Question About My Singapore Moss

at least i think it's singapore moss...anyway

I noticed these "buds" growing out and i was wondering if anyone can tell me what it is. they look pretty cool, like a lantern being held out by a branch.

Those are sporangia (capsule) on stalks: they contain the spores inside them.

Just like plant seeds, it's how mosses reproduce. Take a look at cushion mosses on walls and you'll see the same thing but more obvious.
