hey, i have a pair of lyretail mollies, and the female is pregnant, her belly is really big and she cant even move, so about a day ago i separated them to a 10 gal, here are my quest,

1- do i just need the female in the tank alone or with the male?
2- do y need any kind of filter?aeration?
3- the first day they were swimming all over the place together, really close, but now there both just on the bottom of the tank doing nothing, is this normal?

1. Alone should be fine, but you don't want to create stress for the fish. Fish will abort fry when stressed.
2. You should have a filter unless you're going to do near 100% water changes every day. The filter should eliminate the need for aeration if it's a hang on back filter and splashing causes the surface to break.
3. Hanging out at the bottom might be a sign of sickness. Make sure the fish have clean water with plenty of aeration. It's really a symptom rather than an illness itself. It's hard to say what it might be exactly.
