question about guppy pregnancey

i got a guppy sat. and it has a gravid spot on it. i went to petsmart to ask them how long it would have babys. the lady said really really soon and i got a thing to put it in. it ws going crazy so i took her out and its been two days now and no babys. is there any way to tell how long it will be for the babys to come out?
also how many babys do they usually have. i dont have room for a lot, and what do i do with them whne there older?

If you can see the outline of the fry or can discern their bodies from their eyes, then it'll be really soon. i've also noticed that in my guppy the fry look brown at the drop time and the gravid spot gets squarish (can't provide a better description).

It's bets to let the female drop outside a trap. Moving livebearers and placing them in smaller spaces really stresses them, and so close to the drop date means miscarriage or the like.

Best way is to show you my female 2hrs before she had her fry. Trust me, their bellies will EXPAND quite big. The gravid will become large and completely black, and your female will not eat as much and will find a place to rest and stay still to have them(possibly by a floating plant or shaded areas in the tank)

she isnt eating as much and was trying 2 rest but my yellow fancey guppy kept attacking her so i but her in a breeder, shes alot more peacful in there. she is looking bigger but not that big yet. i hope she has the babys but thursday.

Why by Thursday?

If she's not that big, then you have time. If you get her in at least a week before the fry are due, she'll be fine.

Those males don't leave even the pregnant females alone, do they.

i want them by thursday so i can name them after the ppl. on survivor. i know thats odd, lol, but.... well yeah, it is,lol.
i know my little sampson wont leave her alone, the other 1, jones, i think hes to young to want to think about mating though, lol, hes kinda small
