Question About Fry

when can i tell if they fry are male or female? right now, they all look like they are female. the 4 oldest are a good 3/4 of a inch long- they don't have their color yet, but some are getting their black spots already.

You can usually start tellling by 3 months, but all of your's may be late bloomers. It's hard to say. Take a close look at their anal fins though. Some may appear a little more pointed then other's, and those will probably be the males. It's a subtle difference though.

i honestly have no idea how old they are. i seem to catch them about a week or 10 days after they are born. (makes me wonder why i try to catch them sometimes ) i'll just keep checking til i can tell who's who
