i'm not sure but i'm thinking they may be her eggs, because they are sitting near a couple of my males. I was also wondering if they are her eggs, will her health suffer if i don't breed her? or will her eggs just go away on their own or u know stuff like that. and should i move them away from the males?

i just wanna make sure they're not in pain or die because of it. lol, i know that's probably a stupid question, but i'm relatively new to female bettas,
anyways, thanks

ok, thanks for the info. lol, i feel like an idiot. oh well. not the first time for that and i'm sure it's not the last! :D

Actually its their oviposter (Not sure about the spelling!)whare the eggs are released from. All females have them!!

lol, ok, so what do u think, should i move t hem away from my males? i'm thinking maybe i should. cause i don't plan on breeding them since i've only started keeping bettas about a couple months, and i'm not experienced enough for that.

No, the ovipositor is normal. All females have them. Instead of moving them, you could always cover the side of their tank that's facing the males.

They don't need to be moved. The ovipositor will appear and become distended with or without a male present. You will also notice her belly, directly above the ovipositor, become large from time to time, as she fills with eggs. When she does fill with eggs, please don't fast her. She needs the extra nutrients during this time.

Consider it as just meaning that she's a healthy girl. It won't hurt her to not breed. Females can drop their eggs with very few of them experiencing complications from it.

Ok, thanks for the information. I'm glad it's normal. lol, i do feel like an idiot but i've never kept females bettas before. Oh well. Everyone has been really helpful.

yeah I was worried about that on my betta girl too, glad I saw this thread. Phew!
