Question About Feeding Vegies

can anyone please tell me how to get the stupid vegetables to stay on the bottom of the tank lol they keep floating to the top and no one can get to them there

Usually "blanching" them in FAST BOILING water will do the trick. For me only takes a 60 second dip in the boiling water to knock out the air from the veggie. This forces the air out of the plant cells & cleans anything nasty off the outside of the veggie. By the way, not that I probably have to, but I use distilled water. For really tuff ones I just put a rock on one end of it. Also the pleco's would drag it everywhere if I did not anchor it somehow. The do make fancy veggie clips too if you are so inclined...

You can buy veg clips from the lfs, or plants weights with a rubber band.
Some just stick a fork or spoon through the veg making sure the fork is well inbedded in the subsrate so they can't damage themselves.

I've found blasting them in the mic for 30-60 seconds in a bit of water, and the just letting them cool

I use a metal BBQ skewer, thread on the vegies and lean it against the wall of the tank, works a treat and you have a veggie kebab for the fishes!

I have a cory cat tank really, with 3 peppers and 2 albinos, along with a betta. Would any of these eat any veg? If so, what?

My corys eat peas, broc, spinach, sproats, savoy cabbage.
They don't like carrots, lettuce, and cucumber.

Only think id have is peas i guess. I assume you defrost them first? Any specific types of peas lol (stupid question?)?

Boil frozen peas for a few minutes, let cool down, pop out of shell, mush between fingers and add to the tank.
