Question About Fake Plants...

I was in A.C. Morre yesterday for some small terracotta pots for the tanks (I also ended up buying 10 lbs. of river rocks for substrate, lol) and I walked through the fake floral arrangements section. They're are a lot of really nice plastic-coated plants that would be good for my tanks and much cheaper than the ones st the pet store. But I'm afraid to use them because they're might be a chemical coating or the plastic might leech chemicals because its not made to be in water, so I didn't buy any. Does anyone know if these are ok to use, or have used them before?

I use the plastic plants from dollorama in 2 of my tanks. Never caused problems so far *touch wood*

I think it might be worth a shot. But I'll wait a bit to see if anyone else has had any bad experiences first, just to be safe.
