Question About Cycling

This is my last thread today i swear. Is it inappropriate to go the pet store and get some cheap fish to cycle the tank with? Obviously i dont want to be putting my bettas in there without knowing they will be ok.

Most people on this forum encourage people to do a fishless cycle, information about this can be found here: http/www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=113861

But at the end of the day it is up to the person whether or not they want to do a fishless cycle. If you do do the cylce with fish in, make sure you don't use bettas, they are not very good to use fo this purpose. Also doing a fish in cycle, will require daily water changes.
