I read that if you get two clowns when they' are small, the more dominant will be come female (as most are born males)

and I also hear of people say "get two small ones to ensure they bond/mate"

does this mean you can breed clowns in your own tank?

it is certainly easy to get clowns to lay eggs, raising the fry is another matter.

if you get them small enugh then you are assured to get a pair. getting them to lay is the easy part as mentioned. Rearing the young isnt.
People have had success with breeding clowns though. If you wish to try this then you really dont want anything in the tank with them

I thought clowns were born without a sex. I thought the dominant one in a group wuz the female, the next dominant wuz the male, all the rest were juvi's and unsexed :S
