Question About Betta Coloring...

I purchased a male CT betta on wednesday and he was a pretty solid color, yesterday (just 2 days after buying him) I noticed that he was developing stripes on his sides, is this kind of a color change normal, hes just a baby (2 months?) all of my other bettas were already at a mature age when I purchased them. Just wanted to know ig its normal for their coloring to change in such short time and what color he might end up. I'm hoping to breed him when hes of age. I'll post pics of his coloring...

They're stress stripes and they appear when your betta is nervous. Has he got cover in his tank, like lots of silk plants and stuff? Is he in flaring view of other fish?

He's in a 10g with some platies, they get along really well and he has plenty of hiding places

One of mine has weird stripes on his face and is lighter in color when he first wakes up in the morning. He was like that 100% of the time when I first got him and now his color has deepened alot!! more. So just wait it out and see...
