Hi,
I recently lost my two oldest guppys (1 male, 1 female). Male guppy was fine one day and the next he was lying on the bottom of the tank breathing very slowly and died that same afternoon. I had performed a 20% waterchange the day before so levels were fine. Ammo 0 and nitrite 0. He didn't show any signs of sickness whatsoever, no spots, streaks or marks of any kind, no changes in eating or swimming habits, so I'm attributing his death to old age. As for the female, apparently she was victim of fish TB (Nasty disease!).
Anyway my question is: I've noticed that as guppys get older and older their tails tend to bend a little downwards, specially the male. I have 3 guppys left, (they are the "children" of the two dead ones) one of them is a year old female (well, a bit older than a year) and her tail is just startng to point downwards oh so very slightly.
Is this normal?
