Hi there,
I got some new fish and put them in the quarentine tank before I put them in the main tank. Good thing because a few days later one came down with a fungal infection. It's now cleared up and I plan on moving the fish into the main tank next week. Now my question is. I have some fry in a breeder net in the main tank and I want to move the fry into the quarentine tank, do I need to empty out and clean the quarentine tank and re-cycle it before I put the fry in, or is it OK to do a couple of water changes and then put them in?
The fungal treatment was done over a week ago, I am still treating with Melafix because there was some fin loss with the fungal infection, but I have done a 50% waterchange since and will do it again before I put the fry in. I've got 2 different batches of fry the older ones are about 6 weeks old while the others are 3-4 weeks old.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Why are you putting them into the quar. tank? If its for space, which i have done before, do some water changes and make sure that it has been awhile since you have treated any sick fish. If you have a filter the carbon should help with that also.
