Hi all.
We have been stocked now for just under a fortnight and everything is going well (thanks to everyone who has given advice) but i've been thinking about our quarantine tank. We have a very small (14l) tank set up as a hospital/emergency tank. I know it is small but we are only looking at it housing a couple more tetras (followed the advice of not going for a centerpiece). That is a few weeks off yet but if we were to have a problem in the meantime is it better to transfer fish to this still cycling set up or leave them in the main tank? We have been cycling for about a week with media from our main tank so i'm hopefull it wont be too long.
So really the question is 'if a problem arrises, fish-in cycle short term with daily water changes or leave in main tank?' Thanks
