Fish Herder
Hi everyone,
I brought home four pygmy cories yesterday and the gal put one of them in a seperate bag. My son was holding the net as I poured the water out and rather than having the pygmy flow out with the water, it became stuck to the side of the bag. I cannot remember exactly what happened, except I had the sink (the side where the garbage disposal is) blocked with one of those red solo cups. . .it was when the fish because stuck, I moved the cup to try to get the fish out. Next thing I know, the fish was going down the disposal!
Luckily we had a flashlight and I was able to scoop the 1/2" long fish out of the and put him in the cup that contained the water from his fish bag.
He is fine today and swimming and acting like the other three pygmy cories. But, it looks like there is two red lines under his skin. . .does this sound like hemoraging? I did a 20% water change to see if having fresh water will help him.
Thoughts? Do you think since he's acting fine today, that the spot will heal up?
