hi,

well i went to my lfs today to buy some more bronze cories to add to the 3 i already have, and they had c. pygmaeus in which i really wanted so i bought 3 even though two of them were miniscule babies.

so i put them into my tank, and sadly my 2 angels decided straight away that one of them is food  and they started to chase him around my tank. he is currently hiding behind a filter but i was wondering whether i should move him into my other tank until he's a bit bigger? the other tank has 8 harlequin rasbora, 5 guppies and 2 ottos so he would be safe only the gravel is a bit bigger in this tank - its the typical white gravel you would buy in the lfs.

what do you think i should do?

for info the tank he is in now is a 100litre/29gal with 2 angels, 1 marble hatchet, now 6 bronze cories and now 3 pygmy cories.

Hi,

I would move them to your other tank as they will get stressed out and you'll never see them if the angels harass them all the time. As long as the gravel in the other tank isn't big enough that they might get trapped in it there shouldn't be any problems, it's the sharp gravel that causes most problems with corys.

Once the angels are fully grown they could easily eat pygmys as they only grow just over an inch, it might be an idea to get another 3 pygmys and keep them permanently in the other tank.
