I was just wondering about people's opinion and experiences they have had with keeping Pygmy Angelfish in an Reef Aquarium, are they incesive in biting coral, have you even had this problem at all? Is there any certain species I should lok at getting, or not look at getting?

I currently have a 55 (US)gallon tank i'm looking at converting into a reef aquarium.

Thanks.

some will some wont, flame angels are meant to be notoriuos coral nippers but then again some people have one in a reef tank on thsi forum with no problems. coral beautys are my fav dwarfangel and they arent as bad for coral nipping, though some will. thats all the info i can give you on this im afraid! hopefully someone else will no the post reef safe pygmy angel :p

we've an eibli angel in our 30gal reef and he doesn't bother corals too much so long as we keep him well fed. he has the odd nip at things but hasn't done any serious damage. essentially though it's down to the fish, some will some won't, just have to try it.
