Putting fry in the community tank

I've got 9 swordtail fry 5 of them are abot a month old and the other 4 are about 2 months.

The older ones are quite big, about 1cm (1/2") so i was wondering if I could put them into the community tank (see sig for other fish in there)

Also, when will I be able to tell their sexes?

it depends, i would give it another week because u would be devastated if they got eaten.But they should be alright i'd of thought so anyway.

Thanks, I got the sizes wrong though, the littler ones are about 1 cm, the bigger ones are about 2.5cm (1") I will give it another week though. The only ting is, I haven't really got space to move them all. How about if i left most of them in the little tank and got like a betta or something to pad it out a bit, would that be ok?

I won't be adding any more fry for a while, because unfortunately, my swordie girls died, I was gutted!!
