Did you use any of the original Tank Water,
Did you clean out the Filters or Gravel

Del

i didnt clean the filters and i didnt clean the gravel i took them out kept them in a bucket of water and then put them back in with all new water

Hi there

Realisically you should have kept around 50 - 60% of the original tank water (IMO), but if it is done now its done.

If you have it I would add some form of cycle aid this will help, the fact that you didnt clean out the filter or gravel is great and this will also help along.

Am I right in saying that the fish are in a bucket of original tank water, if so I would get the fish back into the tank (with the original tank water) ASAP

Del

For future water changes I would defo only do 20% every 2 weeks or so.

no the fish are in another tank, it wasnt a water change i was after i do them once a week normaly its just i needed to start again with new gravel and re plant it you can see the pic on members photos should i add some water from another tank and then re add my fish
