Is it common for Green Spotted Puffers to move shells and rocks around their tank? I have been watching mine now for a few months move all the shells (from some crushed coral) to one corner of the tank...He spends a few hours every evening about an hour before the lights go out, moving the shells that are sprinkled all around the tank, into a pile in one corner. I find it very interesting...At first I thought it was just a coincidence but Ive watched him do it over and over every night. He also sleeps under a piece of wood which is just infront of where he keeps his shells.

Anyways, between loving peas, moving around shells and getting along so well with the black mollies, I find this Green Spotted Puffer quite a character! Lots of personality! And getting quite large too. I thought they grew slow but he seems to be growing fairly quickly!

It is quite normal for puffers to move around decor, particularly shells. I have never heard of puffers piling shells into one particular corner, but it is a normal behavior and nothing to worry about. Indeed, lots of personality.
