Puffer Emergency!

Looks dreadfull. Head thrashes and shakes like it has something on its face. Still eating vigurosly though. What is wrong with it? He is twitching a lot and very upswet with the substrate!

Could be the ich that is bothering him... Mite be time to do something about it.

No it was the substrate. He tries to burrow but has cut his face up. He is still fighiting though.

What substarte do you have in the tank? It should be a fine sand in which it can bury itself.... it a natural behavior of the fish
