Puffer And Peas

My puffer loves to eat peas...Ive heard they are good for him, so Ive been feeding them to him quite often. Is this ok? Is there anything I should be careful of? Also, what is it about them that is good for him...


He has also been eating some of my mollies fry...Is this ok for him? I think I remember hearing too many is bad...

My SAPs sometimes eat peas, and I seem to recall someone else here, possibly Sir Minion, mentioning that there own puffer eats them too. Given pufferfish (apparently) eat some algae in the wild, alongside their normal diet of molluscs and crustaceans, it probably does them some good getting some greens.

If nothing else, it'll keep them "regular", preventing constipation and other digestive problems.
