Iv'e gone from losing Mommie to having three breeding pairs. (

Hard water area :
Iv'e tried r/o water, rain water, and then a mix of the lot - leaving out the rain, since it hasnt, bit smelly in the waterbutt.
Iv'e tried egg tank to hatch, then moving them to swim ? tank. Out of two "batches" I'm left with approx 18 getting liveier by the day fry. Those belonged to Wonkey and Mrs White.

Next Experiment : Left these in tank.
Psycho and Blondie : theyv'e just got to the stage of catching free swimmers, while still sorting the others, moving leaves.
Girlie and Goldie : Free swimmers for 3 days, Girlie looks like she wants to pop again. Has been laying approx every 7 days.
Both above sets are home alone tanks, external & Uv in G/G's, J internal & water soft pillow in P/B's. Lost loads {in both tanks} to fungus - no idea why these have hatched ?

Q : Do I siphon the babies out to the "egg" tank, or the "swim" tank ?? Now Iv'e actually got this far, I obviously dont want the parents to eat them.

Angelfish, cant do the edit thing

Thanks a bunch everyone for all your help - not.

Parents were cleaning a new peice of slate at the other side of tank, so I removed fry
