OK....Currently in my 75gall I have 6 EYs and 3 clown loaches....so being the interior decorator I am (including my tanks) :p , I decided I needed some blue in my tank....

SO....going by what is available at my LFS's (and bearing in mind there are no cichlid breeders anywhere near me), I came across some Ps. socolofi....has the colouring that I want and "seems" to be compatible with the fish I have...from the reading I have done anyway....

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!!

hwy not, if they are then get some. Not a cichlid expert in any ways whatso ever, but I think they need to be highly stocked right? The africans.

I think a socolofi would be a great addition to your tank. I can't tell you for sure yes or now if it's something that will get along with your EY - mine seems to be the "boss" of the tank and will chase anything that moves - but as long as you have a decent stock (need lots of fish to keep the agression levels from stressing out just one or two) and a lot of hiding places, you should be fine.

I would get one. They make a great addition to any tank. I have one in mine and he gets along with everyone. ( at least in african terms anyway.)

How large are your fishes in your tank? I'm looking at your list and you have some real aggressive species... They should become really aggressive when they reach their maturity and start breeding....
