Prunning Water Sprite

Could anyone please tell me how to prune Water sprite? Is it the same as most stem plants where you cut the tops off and re- plant them?

Well water sprite is a floating plant but you can also plant it like I did with some of mine. What you do is just cut off the dead leaves and new ones will form.

Thanks for the reply. I do have some dead leaves near the bottom that I'd like to get rid of, but the tops are nice and green so I would of liked to chop the top and re-plant.
