My Java fern is sprouting loads of new leafs from the existing leafs, does that make sense?

Whats the best thing to do?

You can just prune off the leaves that have all the sprouts on them aswell. Snip the leaf off at the bottom near the rhizome.

They are the plants way of reproducing, as suggested either leave them be and 'harvest' the babies when big enough or I tend to like to remove them as I'm sure they must be a drain on the plants resources, and I want a java fem to be big and full of leaves not to be small with lots of babies all over it.
