I was just curious if it's beneficial to prune aquarium plants like say a rosebush. I have a moneywart plant that is kind of dying, should I cut back the dying part? or just leave it. I will be getting a co2 filter and some plant fertilizer in a few days so I won't have a problem with it dying anymore. But in the mean time I was just wondering if I should cut it back some.

cutting plants encourages new growth, but if yo think it is CO2/ nutrient realted then it will still die until you fix those

Should I cut off the dead before I install the new filter? or should i just leave it. it's only the one plant that's dying everything else seems to be doing pretty good. The only reason I'm adding the co2 filter is because I want everything to grow a bit faster
