Protozin

hi,

im just bout to use protozin, is it safe for the livebears,fry,angel fish and simase fitin? and for my externinal filter? heater? and shall i leave my lights on?

If u follow the instructions and work out the volume it fine.

I use it all the time with worm in small and large tanks with all species and never had a problem with the stuff.

It will say it it's safe with filter and as far as i've found it it's never caused a problem with the filter, and the heater is no problem, and ways best to turm light off while treating as it helps to keep the stress down a little.

protozin is a med from waterlife, used to treat whitespot and velvet i believe

Yeah i would trun the lights off, just leave them off till the infection clears. Also i think you have to take the carbon out of the filter if you have it in there. The carbon will absorb the med and it wont have much of an effect.

I also find small, regular water changes help them get well faster.
