Protein Skimmer

I made a protein skimmer especially for helping of curing my LR. Made one from a 2ltr bottle, inlet,outlet etc.. but is there any better ways how one can be made from any better materials. Yeah mine works, but i`d prefer one on a smaller scale and also a better looking one

Anyone tried to make one b4?
