Proper Way To Clean Hosp Tank

I know I should use bleach for the container, but how do I disinfect the heater and airstone?

I usually rinse the airstone & any rocks / caves etc in boiling water, rinse the tank and heater in a strong, hot, salt solution (not boiling, just hot) and dry thoroughly with a clean dish towel before putting them away.

I then rinse everything thoroughly with tapwater before re-using.

I have a question pertaining to this thread (hope you don't mind!! )
I'm also going to clean my hospital tank..
what kind of salt solution do you mean??

Also I was told by someone on this forum to never use a bleach solution to clean a tank..
is that true??
