They are just standard household bulbs, incandescent light will be pretty useless for what you have in mind, ideally you want the bulbs or tubes to be between 3000 and 6700k, you can go higher than this in the spectrum but check here first.

Would this lamp work then if i aswell got the proper fixture?

Mind you, i'm not going to actaully go planted, but i will have few plants in there. Dunno if this makes a difference but i'm just stating

I myself would go with a lifeglow2 and its 6,700k.
