Proper Gutted

hey there 2days ago i went to a lfs near to where i live and they sold me a small puffer fish. On the label near the tank it said it is community and will work with most tanks so i thort ok i will buy one. Got it home and everything was ok. Went out today came back only to see that it had practically ripped me blak ghost knife apart So i have now taken the bgk out and placed him in another tank!
I dont know what to do

I would take the puffer back to the lfs and tell them they are idiots. Puffers are not community fish. See if you can get a refund or sell it /give it to someone else. You could try the boards here to see if anyone wants it. If you want to keep it then it will most likely have to be on its own in the tank.

well i have friend hu keeps fish aswell so when i next speak to him i will see if he can take it off my hands! i hope so! mind u i will have to tell himthat they r nasty lil fish!!!

No problem, if you read the oddballs section of this site you will see that puffers can be fun fish to keep, they just aren't very sociable! Good luck rehoming him and I would be wary of what that LFS says in the future. I always check in here first before buying any fish!
