Earlier today I noticed one of my guppies had a rather large poo trailing from her.
I watched her for a while & it eventually dropped off, so I thought nothing more of it.
About an hour ago I noticed something strange, it almost looks like a fry coming out, but she is nowhere near to giving birth.
She's swimming around normally & picking at the plants just like the others.
Could this be a prolapse due to the over size poo earlier & if so is there anything I can do for her?

I had a small platy die from a prolapse the other week. I started a topic about it on here and everyone said there was nothing I could do. Sorry.

Your pics look the same as my guppy has
she doesn't seem bothered by it so far, but I don't want her to suffer.
I've never had to euthanise a fish before, what is the most humane way to do it if the worst comes to the worst?

Well she's still swimming around quite normally & the prolapse is now much smaller, so maybe there is hope
