i posted a topic on an ill pictus of mine yesterday saying that his feelers were pinned to the sides of his body.
the main two feelers have now reduced in length by about half and the fish looks very slow in his actions.
my water stats are still ok but will continue to do a 10% daily water change with stress coat to try to flush out the medication i used last week for popeye. all other fish seem ok, including my other pictus, at the moment so im abit baffled!!!!
HELP.

It's bacterial in he's losing his feelers, also you already have a bacterial desease with the popeye, can you isolate the fish.

my hospital tank is currantly round my brother in laws full of angle eggs so i cant isolate him at the moment. im watching the other fish carefully and if i see any signs i will have to take the tank back but this will be a last resort. do you think it is worth carrying on with the water changes?

If he's losing his feelers it bad news as he can't live without them, they use them to find food, i would get on with anti internal bacteria med if it's not to late, good luck, also increase aeration.
