Problems With Livebearers Tank

hi i have a aqua one 850 ,the problem i have is the power head is vibrarating and anoying the hell out of me its that loud i cant hear the tv.i have tried to replace it but its the old power head and im wanting to know if ne one has had this problem, the power heads have been changed and the new ones aint on runners i dont ant to buy a new one as i doubt its going to fit,my lfs dont stock themand it would have to be orderd ne advice or ideas

My filter has been doing that for about two years now. I haven't done anything with it.

Have you got it under the water or is the top of it slightly out? just mine makes a racket when slightly out, but unerwater its quiet as hell lol......

it is under water isa making a right racket i might ring aqua one

aqua one realy sucks balls, I had one in my guppy tank, it scared the #### out of them so i replaced it, the filter is very poor, just buy a new one, they wont breed if they are in fear of the filter, as i have experienced.

Last time mine was noisy the pump electrical lead was sitting against a piece of the plastic hood. The resonance from the pump must have transmitted up the lead to the hood and vibrated it. My pump itself only gets noisy if it isnt FULLY immersed-something aqua one dont tell you.
