Problem With Search

Trying to find info on "air pumps". The search function rejects words under 4 letters, so I tried again, omitting "air". Got 28 pages to sift through.

Is there a solution to this problem? This is the only fish keeping forum I've found that limits search word length.

What exactly are you looking for with air pumps? Like best ones to use or ...??

Maybe you just post your question your looking for, and we could help you quicker...

That happens with words of three letters. So type it in Google exactly like this - air pumps(space)site:fishforums.net

Don't spell out space though just have it there so it will look like this...air pumps site:fishforums.net

Don't forget the word site with the colon. This is what comes up..air pumps site:fishforums.net
Its pretty cool how many threads come up on any given search.

Try it with other three letter words like ick or ich but you can use it with any keyword like ammonia. nitrate, mag float,water change etc. You can also change the site name to to anything you want like planet catfish, loach forums etc.

This is the only way i search now. I haven't searched within this forum since i found out about searching this way.

Fishkies, I'm researching air pumps which are quiet. I didn't want to start a new topic, since there's usually lots of info already, that just has to be searched out.

Yeah.. it works great. But i cant take full credit for it beacuse i learned it from someone else on this site.
