As above says...........

Wipe it off with a brill pad (new one) do it gently..

Is your tank always in direct sunlight?

How long do you have the tank lights on for a day?

Theres no big light on the tank just a little blue LED light over the plant. the front of the tank facing window put the blind is always down.

The little blue LED light on all the time.

it can be due to new tank set ups (usually last 2month IME) or not a long enough photoperiod, have the lights on 8-12 hours a day.

That would be a good trick, he doesn't have any lights apart from a blue LED. lol.

I wouldn't worry too much, diatom growth is quite common during the early life of a newly set up aquarium, and tends to clear quite quickly. If you are in a rush and want to keep it clear and like them, apple snails quite happily eat diatoms.

Get some flourish excell. If you get snails check that your water isn't soft, for they don't live long in soft water.

flourish excel doesnt kill diatoms, it only kill s algaes that usually come in the first place because of a cause of CO2.
