Fish Fanatic
Hi all,
Well basically i started out with my tank around 4 months ago, and i decided to go with these plants (i'm sorry i dont know what they are, didnt take any notice at the time - sorry) it looks like the ammannia gracilis, but with broader leaves and one main stalk, and they are green. but well yer they were doing absolutley fantastic, having to chop them back regularly and plant them else where, so i ended up with a tank mainly of these plants and had to have a major trim, im talking cutting off half of the plant. but recently ive got a case of fin rot so i couldnt do a water change for over a week, and well their condition has deteriated, with big holes in the leaves around the main 'vein' but the rest of the leaf looked nice anad green, and it also seems that a few have been falling off, this is happening to every single one of them..? i havnt got anything which puts co2 in the water, could that be the reason? could it be a disease or was it just the qulaity of water? or the fact that i trimmed it back too much? will it get better? has anyone heard of this before? if you have please help..
i apologise for the length of this post, but my tank looks great except for these damn plants ! and i dont want to take them away ! Thanks
