Ok well I have 7 molly fry, I used to have them in a net breeder in the tank they were born in until my other fish in there ripped a hole in it or if not a hole they found out some way to eat the fry, unless they just scared them to death. So I moved them into a very small betta tank that is less than 1 gallon, this tank had no filter or airstone in it so I got a 1 gallon mini bow for them that has a small undergravel filter. I am not too fond of them in the mini bow, because when I try to put the hood on it the whole undergravel filter grid floats to the top of the tank and I dont want them to get caught in it. The problem is that I am going on a trip for 3 weeks, I have someone that will feed them, but wont do the water changing. I thought I might be able to put them in a net breeder in another tank, not the one they were born in. The problem with this tank is that the ph is low and I thought they might die because of that. What do you think I should do about this?

Just let them take there chances in the tank they came out of , they will survive if there is plenty of hiding spaces and plants, and that 1 gallon will soon get polluted with no water changes and you will lose them.

I think I am going to put them back in the net breeder where they were born, since I dont even know if the fish ripped a hole in it, I think they just tried to eat all the ones that were on the bottom of the net and that caused the ones on the bottom to die. But the one Ihave now are swimming all over so I think they will be fine.

Put them back in the net. Or the main tank. The little tank will get dirty quickly, and they will end up dying of bad water quality. If you acclimate them very slowly, they should be absolutely fine in the lower p.H. The key is very slow acclimation. It's best if it happens over a couple of hours. :)

Good luck!

If you're going away for three weeks i wouldn't keep them in the net, as it will get clog up with food.
