Problem, Need Advise

Hi

does any body now what this might be (see pictures) , my LFS says it might be fungus but he is not sure

I am actually pretty sure that is fungus. If you have ever left fruit or something out way too long...that white type of fungus grows on it. I don't know what you should do to get rid of it, but someone else might have some advice. I would start with some water changes...definitely rub the fungus off with your hands. You might have to bleach your plants depending on the situation (but I would wait to see what other people have to say).

Again, this is my speculation, but that doesn't look like any type of algae (especially since algae tends to grow in clumps together and that seems to be more sporadically placed around the tank).
