I've had my oldest female Dalmatian Molly since June 2011, she's always been bossy, and my other female Molly always backed down and my male didn't care, he put them both in their places.
I recently got three other Molly's, another male and two more females.
Since that time I've noticed my oldest female and the other, submissive female have really been going at it more than usual, and the bossy female is loosing. She's being bullied by both males and one female now, and she doesn't back down so it's just them going in circles trying to get each other, and her anal fin is shredded to the point where one can't tell if she's female.

I'm not sure how I can stop this behavior or if I should just take my bossy girl out. My only spare tank is the 5 gal starter that she lived in for a few months when I first bought her. I know it's not ideal but she's one of my first fish and I don't want the others to kill her.

Any advice would be welcome, thanks.

If you can't get her a different tank then I would look to re-home her since it isn't just 1 other fish messing with her. It's not like you can just remove the instigator. I had to return a female Blue Three Spot Gourami because she harassed the female Opaline I had in with her.

Why not put her in the 10 gallon & move the fry to the 5 gallon?

EDIT:

I didn't realize your nursery wasn't necessarily a 10 gallon. Oops! If you want to keep her get another tank. If you can't get another tank try to find someone to take her or ask your local fish store.

What fry?

Right. Got confused between your posts and hers. Don't know where the 10g is either. Guess I'll move along now.
