Pro Aqua Plant Fertilizer Bags - Any Good?

I've seen these Pro Aqua Plant Fertilizer Bags on Greenline's website...

I was wondering has anybody else used these and are they any good? Also - are they harmful to the water conditions of the tank in any way? I.e. raise Nitrates high / add waste to tank / raise PH by much / etc.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I've not used them but for lower light tanks they would seem to be an easy and cheap way to dose the tank, with minimum effort. Wouldn't think they are harmful. In high light tanks however its more advantageous to be able to control the ferts in the tank.
