Cos I'm sad and I can't sleep I've put together some figures comparing the costs of different dechlorinators. I was actually amazed at the difference in prices - it can make a big difference if you're changing a couple of tanks a week.

Anyway, here it is. if anyone has the missing dosage info, please let me know and i will update it.

I can't sleep either - aagh I have work in 6 hours!!
That's actually a really useful list! I use nutrafin aqua plus and always have but with all my tanks.....!! Thanks! Although I've never brought the 2000ml bottle...I think I'll stick to the same stuff but buy the BIG bottle!!
Thanks very much for that! Interesting to compare I have to admit!

Sarah, you have far too much time on your hands! :D

Useful though!

I can help you with the KingBritish figures because I have some right here:

250ml treats 2250 litres
10ml per 90 litres

Theres a really good dechlor by King British. I think its just called Water Conditioner or something but its super concentrated, 3 drops per gallon for chlorine, chloramine and heavy metals. I'll get a pic for you, but a bottle is only about £5.

here's Haloex details..

2.5ml treats 112litres
5ml- 225litres
10ml- 450l
15ml-675l
20ml-900l
20ml-1350l

i think Easy Life's dechol would be a good un to add, i think that would work out very expensive, i think it's 10ml for every 30l and costs £9.99 for i think it's 500ml bottle.

EDIT- it's called EasyLife fuid filter medium- http://www.easylife.nl/english/index.html?id=11
