OK So I have CO2 Bottle and I have this CO2 Diffuser how do I know that it is working and the gas is going into the tank? Also I have a regulator on it and it is at the moment on no 6 on the left glass thingy and then 50 on the right round glass thingy... I am trying to find details about all this and how to set it up. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The glass thingy on No. 50 is a pressure gauge that is telling you the pressure inside the CO2 cylinder, which is 50Bar. The other gauge that is reading 6 is the pressure reading after the pressure reduction in the regulator, which reduces it to a more manageable pressure for your hoses etc. Reduce the 6Bar to around 1.5Bar. You know when you are getting CO2 in the tank because you will see bubbles coming from the diffuser.

Dave.

Thanks for that, I see no bubble coming from my diffuser, it is connected to my inlet water pipe that goes through my eheim filter. Does that have to have bubbles. I have another diffuser that I bought on ebay a glass one, but i was hoping to no use it and use the one that connects to the inlet pipe of the filter.

I must admit that I never took a proper look at the diffuser. If you use the glass diffuser then you are using the most efficient method of CO2 diffusion.

damn, i can't find my digi camera, anyways i thought that if you used a diffuser that is connected to the inlet pipe of the filter it was the best as no gas would escape, but i have removed it and used the glass diffuser and it is at the moment doing it's job, i just need to make a bubble counter...
