So I'm pretty sure my platty is prego again and went to the store to get some plants that I asked about, but of course they didn't sell it so I have to look around at another store later. Anyway, while I was there with my son they had a silver molly that had babies and we got to see them rescue the fry they were so cute...Just tiny fish. My son doesn't talk much but he said baby fish or fishy when he saw it in the sepa container so it was real cute@!!!! So I was like this close to saying can i buy it and put it in my sepa tank and raise them then move them to a new huge tank that I would buy, but then decided duh I should get my platy taken care of first. Anyway, the zebra was starting to bug her tonight which is really weird b/c he never has gone near the platys. So I remembered somewhere it said right before birht they give off a smell and other fish will harrass the fish till it dies so they can eat it or until they give birth early so they can sit and eat all the fry. Anyways, I moved her to my other tank and she seems ok since i transferred her slowly in a bag of water from the 10 gal into the small tank to be alone with the plants and hopefully give birth to the fry soon. Do you think I'm over-reacting with the move or am I being safe? I just feel guilty cuz she looks so sad without her mate and keeps swimming to the side of the tank where she can see into the main tank :-( Anyway, wish me luck in the quest for HOrnwart (?) then i can add some more hiding places for the fry...THe other thing was I debated the move for a while but everytime I'd look back at her during commercials (im a LOST addict) the big zebra just kept chasing her so that was the last straw. Anyway thanks!

the females now right next to the male so they're looking at each other from different tanks :-( its better this way isn't it?
