Need some advice please.

Woke up this morning to find that one of my Tiger Barbs has a huge belly so I assume she is pregnant. Ive not been doing this hobby for long so still learning. I have a 35 established tank already set up for emergencies and things like that.

I was trying to get the Barb out this morning but been having a bit of trouble as they are all in a 300 ltr tank so makes it hard to get her. Will she be ok if I leave her in the tank with the other fish or will they try to harm her to get to the eggs? At this moment in time im not to worried about having fry (maybe in the future) but do not wont her to getting hurt.

What would be the best thing to do, do i leave her in there or just keep trying to get her out?

Any advice will be appreciated thank you.

She should be fine if she is ready to spawn, I had tigers that spawned lots of times, I only had fry once though when I sperated a male and female (first attempt). But never raised any fry in the main tank as the eggs all got eaten. If you look closely at the stomach with a magnifying glass you maybe able to see the eggs, just make sure she is pregnant.
Hope this helps

Thanks for your help...all is well now. Looks like she has laid all her eggs.
